"What We Do"

Running for Hope, a Christian humanitarian nonprofit organization, brings hope to amputees and the disabled in war torn and developing nations through gifts of new and used ambulatory aides like prosthetic limbs, wheelchairs, walkers, crutches and canes.

Amputees and Land Mines

80% of all amputees live in developing nations where only 2% have access to help.

Approximately 2,000 people are killed or maimed every month by mine explosions, most after hostilities have ended.

It is estimated more than 100 million active mines are scattered in 70 countries.

What We Believe

James 1:22  “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. ”

Galatians 6:2  “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”

Our annual run has been discontinued indefinitely.  President/founder, Elie Hasbani, will be extremely busy the next 2 years launching a new church in the Milwaukee area. This will leave little or no time to oversee the run.  Thank you all for your interest and previous support. Please watch for the run’s return!
